Just did this about two weeks ago. Using a broom handle in lieu of the damper rod holder (as suggested elsewhere on the forum), then using an impact wrench to get the bolt out from the bottom worked for me. Yes, it's the hex screws for the brake side, and I think a small bolt for the clutch side (I have an 05, but it's probably the same for the other years). I do remember the brake hex nuts being a bit tight - but they should loosen pretty easily.

I replaced it. Ordered it from Ron Ayers with a few other parts I needed at the time anyway. I also used Loctite when installing the sprocket to hopefully prevent the nut from coming loose.

Ron Ayers for OEM parts - usually a very quick turnaround. Motorcyclegear.com (formerly NewEnough) or Motorcycle-superstore.com for everything else. There was a thread about this recently on SBN - sportbiketrackgear.com was a big favorite over there.
