Looking where you want to go. I think this is the best advice EVER! Anytime I'm on an on ramp or off ramp and if I don't look where I want to go the turning sucks, but if I do i feel like a pro with a smooth turn. And also braking, always use both brakes, unless in certain slow moving situations.

I wish I had my photo up to show you, but lower fairing and seat cowl is how mine in. Very unique where I live. I also modified the front lights and installed signal turn in them. Even more unique, going to install a nice lighting kit soon. Even more unique.

Plain and simple, if I feel the area is safe or I'm popping in somwhere quickly, it goes straight on the passenger foot peg. But like one poster said, I paid good money and I won't leave it around freely so some dumb a$$ can steal it. Have to invest in some sort of helmet lock!
