    Hi Chephren, Thanks for your response! Glad it's worked out as a good deal. I've probably only had the bike for 48 hours but already I'm thinking mods. I can feel an addiction coming on! That '98 FZS6 also seems a good deal. How recently did you buy it?

    Hi Scott, Those risers/setback look fantastic! Definitely the first mod for me. Like you I'm not into the lean forward thing - much prefer to sit up and enjoy the surroundings! Also, your exhaust outlet pipes are immaculate! How do you manage it!? Ben.

    Thanks for the welcome Mr Townsend! I think 1900GBP works out at roughly 2860USD at the mo. I notice your FZ6 has bar risers - I was thinking of popping them on mine. What's your experience of them like?

    Hi Mr Impact! The chap that had it rode it for 1000 odd miles a year but kept the servicing up-to-date. You're right about getting used to her! It's a bit easier now I've made some adjustments to the gear shifter and brake levers; the previous owner had them set really high for some reason...

    New member welcome thread..

    Hi all. A proud new owner of a 2004 FZ6 and a proud new member of this forum! Been riding on a CG125 for a couple of years but passed my full test a couple of weeks ago. I'm guessing folks here'll approve of my first choice of 'big' bike!?
