I usually wait until the bar in my RPM to stop blinking, which is a few minutes. I was wondering if there's another way? I don't want to let it warm up for a few seconds or rev my engine if it's going to harm the engine.

I've been looking for a used 05 one but i am not having luck. I went to a nearby motorcycle junk yard, and they have a 03 one there, i was hoping it would fit, the worker said it looked pretty similar. it did look similar but yeah.

Does an 03 upper piece of the cowling fit onto an 05?

Yeah I know right...California is very strict. Most bikes that are loud, usually gets pulled over. Especially down in Southern California. Their reasoning isn't mainly because it is loud but that aftermarket exhausts do not meet the requirements for California. It's annoying.

I do feel that it helps reduce the chances of getting hit. Especially in California. I definitely notice bikes that are around me when I drive a car. I think I've made my decision on getting scorpions. Thanks guys!

The looks of the two brothers that has the yellow outline is also on my mind too. I heard two brothers is really loud though. Is it louder than scorpion? Not sure if I want crazy loud though.

Damn, yea I'm probably going to get the scorpions then. I'm not really a fan of the looks of the akrapovics, and it also sounds really loud haha. I think scorpion would be ideal for me.
