They also require constant recharges with OIL they are not efficient once they dry it. They rely on the oil to catch debris . I say go stock. ALOT more money went into development of that stock system than went into K&N's design
I'm with Scott on this one, ALWAYS keep your registration and insurance in your wallet.
He said it all, bike gets stolen, the guy who stole it has everything he needs under the seat to get away from a police officer legally. Same thing goes for your car. I think it even says it on the...
Good to hear it worked out! Mine sometimes seems ticky in 2ed gear low rpm until its warmed up, but sometimes it doesn't do it at all cold. I'm not going to chase my tail trying to figure it out since it rarely happens. I'll check valves at 26k. at 16k already got it last year with 8k so.. lol
your right we don't have hydraulic lifter. My bad lol. The BG- series of products is really good though. It's the only thing besides some Lucas we ever use on cars at the Mechanic I work at.
I meant i recommend the BG MOA, but I'm not sure how it would affect the clutch, I thought we didn't...
Yeah I'd say it might be one of your valve lifters taking a second to get oil pressure in and pushing it up. I'd recommend some BG-44k in there. It's a great product in my opinion and stopped some cold start valve lifter noise in a mirage my mom had.
i run 91 always because i think it contains better additives for lubrication/ cleaning purposes. I think it has more torque in the low range with the high octane but that's just my butt telling me
Honestly bro, I would ship it.
I'm all for a fun weekend ride. But hauling ass for 1300 miles in a three day weekend is like 430 miles a day at 60 mph average speed is 3, 7.2 hour days of riding. Doing it in 2 days would be 650 miles a day and roughly 10 hours on the bike.
IF it was like 500...
Haha, no lane spiting here in Colorado sadly. These are from stop sign stops in the winter with snow on the ground lol. I've got frame sliders so they save the rest of the bike pretty well but that back fairing becomes a resting point when the bike falls. I've already gotten a rebuild from...
Oh yeah my cig lighter goes right to the battery with just a 25 amp fuse in line.
It's half way laid up for winter i ride my dog a mile to the mail box and back once or twice a day. no extended rides yet too icy / snowy
I did just get it figured out with the title. I have a rebuilt from...
Got it started with a jump from my car ( car off). I guess its the battery then. Any way to save it? or just get a new one i'm not sure how old this one is i got the bike a year ago with the same battery. its cold out here. Is it worth the 20 bucks for the battery tender or just replace. i...
So i tried starting my bike this morning and it just went reh reh reh reh reh reh.. no start. no signs of battery power loss the rehs were consistant. So i just roll started it and now its starting up just fine.. any ideas?
75%of everything is what they cover so, 4700-700=4000 x .75 = 3000
I'm lucky i'm getting 800 for gear and 1000 for personal injury on top so im walking away with 4800 and a salvaged title for my fz6.
Thanks bro, I appreciate it. I'm eh about the whole thing.. I'm happy now because i wasn't expecting to come out positive in cash. They gave me another 800 for my gear i was wearing.. Jacket boots gloves helmet.. =D only thing needs replacing is helmet.
I'm sure many of you know whats this is about since this is the third and final thread on an accident i got into entering Walmart on 6/30/2015, but i'll sum it up real quick.
Basically following an SUV into Walmart, guy gets right no blinker once we enter the parking lot. I stay where i'm at...
