Bumping this up. Shipped the t1200 to scorpion for repair. Going to let this ride on the boards until riding season gets close, then start listing stuff on ebay.

cvalliere: I got your PM but can't reply since your box is full. $65 shipped for the sena alone. Would just need this to install:

So I got rid of the bike to do a down payment on a new car for the wife. Stripped a bunch of stuff off it first though, so anything aftermarket is up for sale now. Everything is located in Cleveland. All prices are negotiable.
Detailed pics of everything can be found at this link...
Just an update. I went ahead and bought the X-Creen Tour. Installed it today. Aside from my own idiocy, it seams to work great. Much less wind noise, and zero buffeting while riding or head-checking at highway speeds. Still fine tuning the angle on it. Only thing bad I've noticed is a very...
Ahh. Unfortunately MRA doesn't make a screen for the s1. I'm thinking of putting the add on spoiler on the stock screen

So i've been playing around a lot with the windscreen on my 06 FZ6.
I've tried all I can think of going smaller. Everything from cutting down a stock shield, to taking the stock shield off completely and it's still causing me buffetting issues at any height.
I figure since I've tried...
Hey, I'm looking to try cutting down my windshield to fix some major buffeting issues I'm having, but don't want to do it to the only windshield I have. Anyone have a stock 06 Windshield laying around, or have one they've already cut down and didn't like?
I've got a pair of Alpinestar's jeans I wear currently. I'm looking for a decent pair of overpants now. While the jeans are nice and no doubt offer better protection than normal jeans, the just don't achieve what I wanted from them.
1) With the knee/hip pads installed, they don't look like...
And turns out I'm an idiot somehow. Bike wouldn't start when I went to leave work. Got pissed and decided that while waiting for a ride home I'd pull the battery. Got the tank up and found the negative terminal was loose. Apparently I cross threaded it in the nut and didn't notice it wasn't...
Thanks for all the advice. Little update:
Never got around to testing it under the seat at the RR yesterday. My wife is having some car issues so I had to take the bike to work today. I figured it would be ok fresh off the charger and I'd just keep the revs high.
Bike seams to run...
I'm in the same boat. I've found that I can fit a uniform, gym clothes, shower supplies, and my lunch all in my top box. I don't do it often (we've got lockers at work that I keep a set of everything in) but it's possible. I prefer riding without the top box if I can though.
