actually didn't get to bring the StripleR home until this afternoon.

Frankie is going in to the shop tomorrow.
don't know how...
yeah, i hear ya. i like the +1 philosophy. but then there are times i subscribe to the "less is more" ideal too. kind of wondering if i am going to wind up keeping the fz6 once the Street Triple arrives.
see what i can do about getting some music your way...say, i could always post the link...
thanks! i've been watching the weather for days. i know for certain i'll get rained on one or more days. still trying to decide which gear to wear and which rain gear to bring. maybe having so much gear is making the decision making process harder.
hope to find a bunch of open-mic gigs along...

first off, i do have to say that i really like the FZ6, so this is not intended to discount the quality of the machine or the ride in any way. if the Striple did not please me as much as it did i would be staying with the FZ6 -- no question.
it's just that when it comes right down to it, i am...
sorry to quote myself here, but...
rode an 09 Striple today.
unfreakingbelieveable! my name is on the list for an 09 R.
anyone want to buy a beautiful, Cobalt 08 FZ6, named frankie???
many more than ten years have passed since i got my first tattoo.
got one as recently as this past winter.
it took almost 9 hours to complete.
there are no butterflies or faeries, no flames or skulls.
each one significant and each one beautiful, to me.
no regrets what so ever.

"what was that black thing that just bounced across the road?"
i asked myself that question a couple of years ago while doing
80something down I-91 on the Triumph.
when i got home and lined the bike up to back into the garage,
i noticed the fork bag was open. suddenly, without warning,
a...
the Legend is a great mid range triple.
900cc and the affordable answer to those priced out of
the TBird and TBird sport range.
lower seat height than the FZ6, upright riding position too.
keep your eyes open for one one ebay or cycle trader. they come up pretty often.
yeah, Frankie is the FZ. when the first striple rumors were floating around, word was it would be about the same height if not a little lower than the FZ. weird thing is it's all of .3" higher, and that is very noticeable to someone who is notsotall to begin with.
though, now that i am becoming...
