Is it okay to run two different tires brands on my FZ or is it just taboo?
Basically, I only need a rear tire and don't want to use the same brand... My front tire is still in great condition.
Should I just bite the bullet and buy two new tires, same brand?
Not much snow here in South Carolina so no real reason for a fat tire bike... well maybe for having a really COOL bike.
however, I'm also a fellow mtn bikers on this forum..
my big tire bikes are 29er.
If you're in the area around race dates and feel the need for some epic...
I think the GoPro might be leading the action cameras but I went with Contour.
with Contour, you have 270° rotating lens, 170° wide-angle lens and laser alignment you can mount the camera almost anywhere on any angle.. it works great on my FZ6 and also for my cycling (MTB and Road)...
Does anyone have advice on cycle gear's SEDICI HOTWIRED gloves.. how well do they work?
Sedici has a lifetime warranty plus a built-in temperature controller with 3 push button settings..
Tuff call.. I love my FZ6 however, my other bike is a 1984 Yamaha RZ350 two-stroke.. it has the same engine at your banshee. I really love the power to weight of my RZ350..
my two cents, I would not sale my two-stroke! :spank:
I've been using a Contour for a few years. works well on my motorcycle and just as good on my bicycle helmet (Road and Mtn) ..
With the Rotating Lens and Laser alignment you can mount the camera almost any angle. however the contour and others has their pros and cons so do some research...
Why would you winterizing your bike?... Just buy some heated gear and keep riding. - That's easy to say when you live in the south  and not New Jersey.
actually, change the oil, give it a good bath and pop on your battery tender.

I see a lot of motorcycles parked in non-parking spaces. While many will argue they just do this to get closer to the door, riders will claim they do this to (1) free up spaces for (cars) other vehicles or (2) park where a car can't knock the...
:welcome: from South Carolina USA -
Great new on your new FZ6  however you should NEVER be shamed on anything you ride.. I say "F" them if they don't like what I ride! :Flip:
I've been using HJC 's pinlock on my HJC CL17 with NO fogging up issues.
4 weeks ago, I picked up another HJC FG-17 Helmet. I waited for a few cool morning to prove to myself if I really need the pinlock...
well, my answer is: Friday, I install another pinlock.. so, yes on the pinlock...
visions,
just to be clear, you have plans to press out your steering stem from your FZ6 lower triple, and reuse it on a lower R6 triple? does the R6 lower needed to be machined to accept the FZ6 stem?
Can you just us the complete R6 triple? if so, this might be an option, check out All...
