So I'm considering getting a 06 FZ1 but I've not gone and looked at it yet. Does anyone know if the riding position is all that much different? I need something where the pegs are little lower and maybe a little more forward.

So I'm looking to make some changes the bike. First I need some new bars as the stock one's just SUCK, I'm also hoping to find something to help with the weird/lousy clutch pull and change the location of the foot pegs. So I'm asking for some thoughts/ideas on these items...

Went on a 150 miles ride today up in the Uinta Mountain range of Utah. Have to say I was pretty impressed with this bike. My buddy was on his '05 R1 and my bike had no problem keeping up.... My backside got a bit sore but other than that it was pretty fun...

So does anyone here change their own tires and if so, do you just use tire irons and remove and mount the tires. How do you protect the wheels and how do you balance the tire after the fact......

RPM range...Is it safe...? So just out of curiosity, I'm wondering how safe it is to be running these bikes up into the 11-12K range? I see on the gauge it reads redline at 14, but sheesh really can you safely pull this off, or will sustained high RPM like that cause engine damage? I come...

So, as a new owner of this fine machine I understand there is a reserve on this bike. The question I have is, what kind of indication do you see when you hit reserve and how many miles are left.
