I was there yesterday as well. It was a blast!!! I'm slow as hell but it was fun and I learned a ton. I also met Moeginny who just happens to have the same faster blue bike as me. 2 blue FZ6's in the same group was pretty cool.
It was nice meeting you yesterday Moeginny!!
I'm looking...
Man, if you were close to me, I'd give you my original Dunlop. I took them off my bike in May with 2,500 miles on them. I put on Bridgestone BT016's for a couple of track days and I love them.
Wavex, I watched it last night. The first clip they showed from you was on board the FZ for a few turns and then they showed your crash. Later on in the story they showed another on board clip from you. It was pretty cool.
I've been wanting to get a set of these for a while now. I ordered them a few weeks ago from motomummy. I purchased the unbreakable "shorty" levers. I love them so far.

I got to try my new BT016's out during my first trackday. I mounted them last Monday and the track day was Sunday. I really enjoyed leaning into corners with these tires and giving the bike throttle as it accelerated off of corners. My first track day was a blast
Okay. I decided to do my first track day this upcoming weekend. How the hell do you remove the mirrors on our bikes? I have an '07 if it makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.
Any new or about to be new college grads on the forum? Just curious. I'm graduating tomorrow with my B.A. in Middle Grades Education. Yes, I'm going to be a middle school science or math teacher.
Congrats man!!! I passed my BRC in September of '06. I bought my FZ6 in May of '07. I have never looked back. I practice something every time I ride though. Never get too comfortable on a bike or it will bite you in the ass. Good luck and stay safe.
I got it! I think it was because I didn't use the extender for the added torque earlier today. I went up to setting #6. I'm a big guy. I can't wait to test it out tomorrow.
Thanks again guys!!
