    Attitude on Speeding Tickets

Poked my head in this forum for the first time in a while to sell some parts. Man I miss it. The Triumph forum isn't nearly as interesting. That being said, I wanted to add to this post a bit. In the almost two years since I originally posted, I have been pulled over twice. Once on a...

That's not me in the vid. I did have a red one, but now I'm on a blue/white Daytona 675.

FZ6 Shows up in RNickey Mouse Mulholland Vid

Rare to see an FZ running with these boys. Quite a few shots peppered in there. Anyone we know? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN4tv5HtVv0

    Anyone used the GoPro Chesty?

Sure have. Here's a vid taken a few years back. I like the Chesty a lot for upright, not so aggressive riding. Seems to capture a bit more of the riding experience. https://youtu.be/qCjqasNrz88

    I Lost The Love Today

So I just traded in my FZ6 on a new (old stock) 2013 Triumph Daytona. I love a lot of things about it, but I wish I had kept the FZ in the stable for a few reasons-#1 being comfort. I can't see myself doing a 400 to 600 mile day on the Triumph;something I regularly did on the FZ. #2 is storage...

FZ6 Sold! Heading into new realms...

Absolutely. I've put in a little under 200 miles so far, and a little gun shy with the throttle (break-in for another 800) but I can tell you this-the handling is damn near telepathic. I'm sure I'll be beside myself once I can let her rip to redline. I'll be sure to post up.

FZ6 Sold! Heading into new realms...

Just traded my '06 FZ for a new Daytona 675. I was headed to the track more and more often, and I needed a sharper tool. Just wanted to say thanks to all here who's posts I have enjoyed over the last few years and have learned a heck of a lot from. Your guidance has been key. I'll be checking in...

Do u drag your knee on the FZ ?

I drag a little knee every chance I get. Totally possible on the FZ with a little practice. If you succeed, when you get on a supersport you will be a rockstar. It's so much easier with clip-ons. In the pic, you'll notice the bikes not even leaned over that much. It's all about the "one cheek...

Which year model do you ride?

I'm the second owner of my '06. Bought with 5k, now has 24k after four years of tours, track days, commuting, and anything else I could throw at her.

Man. That is some clean work. Apologies if I didn't see in an earlier post-what shock are you running in the rear?

    Purchasing new brake pads

EBC Double H Pads. They rule. Just watch the seating period-can be a little grabby and loud.

    Anyone heard of loadshedding?

Install a solar system with battery back up. The newer systems, which remain grid-tied (like the ones incorporating the Tesla Powerwall batteries) can be optimized to either do load/peak shedding to use power you have produced when the utility is charging you the most for their kWh's. They can...

    Please help, electrical problem...

Yep. Kill switch. Opened it to find some evidence of arcing and pitting on the contacts. You may see that I posted on one of the older posts thanking you all for the help. I just came in from a test ride-all clear. We'll see if a good cleaning fixed it. If not, I'll do the bypass and...

Bike dies as tho the kill switch was hit

Once again, this forum comes to the rescue. You guys rule. I had the same issue today and was so frustrated. Electrical issues are the worst. I would not have known to look at the kill switch. Thanks!

    Please help, electrical problem...

Must be some synchronicity happening here. I just logged on to see if I could get some help diagnosing an electrical gremlin that sounds close to what you have experienced. Although I am not seeing the dash reboot like you did. Just the loss of power, occasional engine shutoff while riding...
