I'm going to be attending the race next Sunday with my wife. It will be our first GP. We're staying in Florence so I was planning on taking a train to San Piero a Sieve. After that, it seems like there are inconsistent shuttles and taxis that could take us [closer] to the circuit. I've read that...
is the recorder cbrbob and is he on the preferred line? i'm guessing it takes lots of practice to memorize the track and know where to start turning to hit each apex... and most definitely looks easier on tv! i'd say use the winter to save up your practice budget, but you probably use that on...
sounds like your battery isn't getting enough charge, especially on short trips or when stuck in traffic. you may want to test the battery and charging system for yourself. here's a good guide on troubleshooting...
welcome to the forum and to fz6. apologies for not getting on this thread earlier. if you're still curious, i have an fz6 with the fz1 bar in hoboken, if you want to take a look. i believe there are some other guys with fz1 bars in brooklyn (metallicat comes to mind) so you may want to reach out...
awww shucks...should have checked the forum before going on my ride. i was up around there yesterday as well. stopped by perkins memorial tower around noon. would have been great to meet up!
i have this bag. got it from ebay (new with minor scratches) a couple years ago for about $60, i think. perfect yamaha blue match. it doesn't fit a whole lot of stuff - as a matter of fact, you could likely fit more in a backpack - but i prefer it over having a backpack.
you can see it in...
thanks, everyone! had a great birthday weekend in sonoma sampling some tasty grape juice! have been pretty busy so far this season so i'm really looking forward to getting some time in the saddle. group ride, anyone?
where's the lean meter? Blah
looks like great running conditions and loads of fun! btw, did you get a clear screen so that you could record from this perspective? :D
has anyone ever considered using an electronic horn, similar to what some emergency vehicles use? something like this. i'm not sure how easy/feasible it would be to mount or the legal ramifications. from what i could find out, it's legal for privately owned vehicles (e.g., first aid squad) but...
wow, that sucks, eric. hopefully the insurance company will make some progress. i think at most you'd be able to prove the car - not sure if you'd be able to prove that he was the driver since he didn't admit to it and it sounds like there were no witnesses to him being the driver. i totally...
sorry about your loss. +1 on the android device manager. if it's registered on your account, maybe you could at least perform a remote wipe & lock. it should work if he happens to be online (e.g., wifi).
since you're likely moving on anyway, might as well throw the anchor back on and tinker around with this one while it's off the bike to get a better assessment. good luck! let me know if you need any help (and by "help", i mean help holding your beer). :D
