I had tried to use the 55w ballast with a 35w projector kit and the bulbs would just light up and go out. I switched the bulbs still had the same problem. I got a 35w ballast and everything worked fine. I thought that it would work with 55w ballast, but didn't in my case.

Just unhook your cluster and put it in a ziplock bag half full of uncooked white rice and then close it up. Let it stay in there over night and the rice will dry it out. I've used this on a few cell phones. Always worked for me.

I have the whole front end off of my 09 fz6. It just doesn't have the cluster and the wire harness. I did a naked conversion. It's black and I also have the clear wind screen or the black puig screen. Its all in perfect condition. Let me know if your still looking.

The parts are different numbers. The 05 is 5VX-12461-00-00 and the 09 is 4S8-12461-00-00. They do look like that they are the same.
