Picked up an 07 Sv1000S yesterday. Guy is coming to look at the Fz today. The suzuki V-twin sounds amazing with these pipes on it.

I moved the turn signals up to try and fill the area around the muffler. I need to adjust a few things so it all lines up but what do you all think? Before: After:

Got my first ride of the year in today and the seat didnt get hot. But I also went to lowes and got the metal tape for ducts and lined the bottom of the seat. The tape was warm but it never made it through the seat.

Yes this does cut into the underseat storage, but I just bought a nice tank bag to store my tool kit and papers in. Even has a cell phone pocket and a wallet pocket on it.

I modified a stock CBR1000RR exhaust to fit. All for under $60.

I let it idle for about 20-30 minutes and even rev'd it every now and then. Temp got up to 195-205 range and muffler got pretty warm. But the cover around the outlets of the muffler is spaced from the muffler body so it was still cool to the touch when the muffler body was hot.

That looks like a side exit exhaust. The CBR1000rr swapped away from under tail exhaust in 08.

Im not sure. If it is a single side entrance input for the muffler then you should be able to make it work.

It is from a 2007 CBR1000RR.

I will once it has the initial cure and is strong enough to withstand the install. Plus I cant go ride because we still have tons of snow on the ground. So it will just have to be idling for a while to heat up.

Painted it today with high temp black. It is hanging in front of my garage heater now curing.

The guy i bought it from said it was from an 07. Picked it up for $30 and a $5 adapter from auto parts store and cut the CBR muffler and welded the adapter at the angle I needed and it slips right on. I have a large clamp going around the muffler and routed through the frame under the tail...

I had the DIY license plate bracket like that all last year and never had a problem with it. It is bent up enough to clear even with a passenger.

I slipped it back on to get a quick video. Sounds not the best since it was in the garage but enough to get an idea.

Bought a stock CBR1000RR exhaust off craigslist for cheap so I messed around with it and got it to fit. Sounds pretty good with the exhaust drilled out and the flap removed. I only have one pic from when I was test fitting it but I will take more. It is back apart getting painted black right...
