Ramen noodles FTW!!
By the way Eric, don't ever invite me to your house. I won't leave until everything in sight is eaten! Good grief!

Ok, you were right. I'm an idiot. I replaced the turn signal fuse before when it still wasn't working, but I didn't even think about the tail light fuse. I was just fiddling around and replaced that fuse, and viola! The system works again, and all lights are running. Next time I'll be sure not...
Ok, I disconnected the flasher relay and touched together the two pin slots with the circuit tester, and it doesn't seem that I'm receiving power to the flasher relay, which means it must be before that then, correct? What would be next, the signal fuse? As you know, I replaced the signal fuse...
I tried a circuit tester to the running wire and the flasher wire to the ground, and it doesn't seem that either are receiving any power to the signal. Does that mean I need to retrace it all the way back to the speedometer flasher? And if so, would it be part of the wires on the left side of...
I wasn't sure if the fuse was blown so I replaced it with the spare just in case. I will have to go get a circuit tester before I can check if it is supplying power, and I don't have the running lights wire hooked up. Is the electronic flasher part of the speedometer? I'm still pretty new at...
So I was practicing soldering before I took on an electrical job on my bike. I took the stock signal connector I had cut off my stock signals and tried to solder them back together. Currently I'm running LED front signals with and LED integrated tail light. I hooked up the stock signal to the...
I had the stock signals hooked up before, but I bought some cheap ones from a bike shop when I posted this. They weren't the right connection, but I got it figured out. I found some adapter wires on ebay and that solved the problem.
I'm thinking about joining in on this trip. I'll probably bring my girlfriend too. So count me in for 2 tickets, unless I need to buy them myself. Also, when and where to meet?
I just bought some Watsen flush mount turn signals for my '09, but it's going to take 6-8 weeks to receive them. I need a pair of cheap turn signals(preferably flush mount) to install temporarily. Are there any out there that plug straight in? Also, I'm guessing I'm going to need some signal...

I appreciate the feedback. I'll be sure to check the tension before I ride again. I've been using Belray since I bought the bike and have had no problems with it. Since I had no idea what the noise is, I was afraid the new cleaner might have had something to do with it internally, but hopefully...
Actually to be precise, the shop tightened my chain and it didn't make the 2nd noise. I was still hearing the first one after they adjusted it, so I took it to an actual yamaha dealership where I bought it right down the road, and they said it was too tight, so they loosened it slightly, and...
Hey Phil, I'm also a Phil, but you can call me Chase. I'm not exactly in the Allentown/Bethlehem area, but I'm not too far away. I'm in Lumberton, NJ, and am always looking for people to ride with. Unfortunately, it's been hard finding people, especially fz riders. Maybe we can get a ride going...
A couple weeks ago I was cleaning and lubricating my chain. I had just bought a new chain cleaner, Maxima Clean-up chain cleaner is the name I believe. It's the first time I've used a cleaner that required to be rinsed with water after application. Everything went well, used my regular chain...
