Didn't have time to work on it until today. Tried electric tape but didn't fix the problem

I tried to get a picture of it but cant get it to come out clear enough. As far as i can tell that only one single strand of the actual wire broke so I don't know how bad it is guess i can just try getting it to touch and wrap electrical tape around it and go from there. Thanks for the help so far

It's actually not pulled out of the connector. It must have been rubbing on something under the tank and has actually warn through the wire and has just frayed it guess my only real option is to cut the frayed part out and splice it back together?

Okay so I've got a new problem to deal with my bike. When i started it up to go for my first ride I noticed that my fuel gauge was acting weird it started out at 3 bars and dropped pretty quickly down to nothing and went into reserve but I knew I had almost a half tank of gas. Ok wonderful guys and gals of the forum i need some assistance. I had to take out my battery to charge it up the other day and of course lost one of my nuts into the nowhere. On a good note was afraid my battery was dead but after being on the tender for a few days seems to be holding a charge...

Well it would seem nys is not as strict as I thought after doing some research it seems l don't need to have the front signals act as running lights if my research is indeed correct

I haven't ordered anything yet as I am waiting to start my new job so I have money to buy everything. I was just looking at cheap eBay led signals but maybe I'll just stick with stock for now

I was wondering if i were to buy aftermarket turn signals for the front am i going to lose my running lights or is there a way to hook them up to keep them without having to hack up the stock wiring harness . I've figured out all the stuff i am going order to go naked but the turn signals

Is it possible to mount the turn singles on most of the headlight brackets you can buy? As you can see in the picture that is my bike as i am riding it now :spank:

Ok fine gents and lady's of the forums i have a few questions on going naked lol. I know that the popular way to go is the kit from dev_usc which i like but I'm also really digging the Buell Conversion :rockon:. So the questions i have are is the buell conversion going to end up being cheaper...

Poor mans naked conversion lol. It rides nice no noticeable wind buffeting or anything of that nature. Everything seems to be solid no vibrations. Not sure about rideing in rain think I might wrap exposed electrical connections in electrical tape just to be safe. Would take any suggestions...

So I got my bike back together so its rideable today. Took me long enough don't know why I didn't think to mount my turn signals like that before. It felt great to ride it in over a year.
