How to drain the carburetors on 2007 fz6

How long is this storage period?? Mine sat for over year while I deployed, and when I came back I hit the starter button and it started and sounded perfect. I did no preps because I didn't know it would be there that long. Disclaimer: it was very low milage then (2k miles), and I was in San...

Oooooops "wheelie" with wife on board!

I've done it once with a girlfriend (pre wife days) and she loved it. It was as simple as full throttle on a straight road. Stock bike. That girl was kindof crazy though. My wife would kill me if I did it. She hits me every time I give it any throttle. I think it is cause she would rather just...

For those that did the FZ1 bars

You guys are awesome, I was choosing the wrong bike for look up. Looks like a very good ~100 buck upgrade. Next paycheck for sure.

For those that did the FZ1 bars

I must be dumb. Two sites, and handlebars are both 57 bucks. Maybe we aren't talking about handlebars in the steering handle pic?? Do you have to drill them to install? (you do on Ducatis for the controls)

For those that did the FZ1 bars

Looks like 57 dollars on the above website, not 28. Am I looking at the wrong year?

    wtb: galaxy blue front fairing

Those three parts are all I broke on my bike too when she went down. It doesn't look THAT bad, but I just ordered all the parts from Yamaha to fix it. It was about $150.

    HVMP bar ends (HEAVY!) review

I noticed a lot of my bar vibration has diminished as I get more miles. Everything has finally broken in nicely: engine, transmission. I would still be in for a group buy though.

    givi screen 04-06 comments?

Keep us updated. I just finished a 1350 km ride with my stock 05 and would love to reduce the wind blast at 170 kmph. My neck muscles are going to be huge. I did a lot of hugging the tank and looking through the windshield itself.

    Givi V46 reflectors

The material is definitely reflective, but it isn't perfect. Certainly better than cardboard, but I went ahead and still put reflective tape on about half of it. In a pic, the installed piece didn't shine at all. With the extra tape, it is much brighter.

    Givi V46 reflectors

I recently put a V46 on my 6, and went in search of reflective tape to fix the lack of reflector behind the lenses on the back. I didn't actually check it at night, but when I pulled off the lens to put on the tape, there is now a reflective thick piece of foil behind. Has anyone else with a new...
