    Found it!

I'm sorry I didn't reply earlier...since I couldn't ride I've been ignoring the forum. I put the original bolt back in, and I've kept the extras for backups. If you'd like, I can give you the info on the replacements I bought at the hardware store. dave

    Found it!

My gas tank bolt vibrated off earlier this summer. I checked the forum to buy a replacement (thank you), and figured the original was on the side of the road somewhere. Winterized the bike this afternoon, and found the original bolt and washer under the gas tank. :o) dave

    thanks for the help

Followed your advice on battery tenders for my FZ6. Much easier than I imagined...used a Battery Tender Jr. and just installed it without any modifications. Thanks again for all of your help. dave

What do you all do for a living?....

I'm a lawyer (mostly bankruptcy and divorce). Don't get to ride as much as I'd like (who does), but appreciate every chance I get. :o)

How much did you $spend on your fz6? $7200

2009 $6484 OTD, plus 20% off any accessories for the next year...saved a bunch on 2 helmets, 2 jackets, etc...

Why did you buy your FZ6?

Bought my last bike in 1988 (Kawasaki EX500). Sold it in 1991 to go to grad school. Wanted another bike. FZ6 has similar upright position, great seat for me and my wife, fuel injection, I can flat foot it, and my first bike was a Yamaha. Local dealer had the best "out the door price" with...
