In my case cannot be fuel pump and i can cleary hear the pump running strong, in fact i can even see the gas on the tank splash because of the pressure.
I need more ideas...
I am starting to have exactly the same problem with a completely stock bike with over 80k miles on it. So it's not valve clearance.
I am thinking that could be a temperature sensor sending wrong signal to the ECU, maybe air temperature sensor? maybe map sensor, some of the sensors that connects...
After i installed lead headlight and stop, my stator starting to fail.
FIrst the genuine stator failed at 1 year after led installation, i fix it rewinding it, and it failed again at 6 month, and then again at 6 months then again at 6 months... so i uninstalled the led headlight (leave the stop...
Hi everyone. I will take advantage of this topic to ask a question.
On the FZ6 Service manual says that the Rear Shock has Nitrox compressed at 170.7PSI and that is very good, but it doesnt mention AT ALL about the suspension oil.
Somebody knows how much suspension oil does the FZ6 rear shock...
its not, it Yamaha and its new policy of making more money lowering costs.
This is the best frrame they ever built, is the same basic frame used on the Yamaha MT09 with some modifications on the back, but the frame neck is the same
I think your problem is the Radiator cap.
The FZ6 system is supossed to use a 1.1 Bar cap. If you use a 1.6, the pressure on the system will get too high until the cap starts to do its work, if the pressure gets too high, the coolant can be pushed outside in this case, the cooland reservoir.
You are so wrong about this.
This FZ6N used FLAT BAR Style handlebars, in fact on the speecsheet of the FZ6N that is one of the items.
And the FZ6 S (Faired) use a bend style (i dont know if that is the name)
Wich one is more confortable... i dont really know... i think maybe the S...
i already did that. It feels a little different, like more narrow, is weird but i already get used to it.
The only thing you need to take into account, is that you will need to drill a adjuster little hole for the right command.
Rest is the same.
I have the same problem, and i got tired of it, so in the end i lubbed the 3 bearings and change the clutch for hidraulic and the problem was a thing of the past.
But eventually the stiffness cames back again, even with hidraulic system... so... as i use my bike everyday on heavy traffic and it...
I beg to differ.
I have my FZ6 S2 ABS since 2008 and i still have no plans to change it.
In fact i hate the triple cylinder engine sound, i think is not for everyone.
I love my FZ6, and i make things for her every now and then.
I think i will keep it forever.
jajajaja you have issues men.
I change oil every 10.000km (including oil filter) and this is what is indicated on my manual.
The manual varies from country to country, but on mine, it says 10.000km, and i have change it like that with no issues whatsoever, and i think i could even go longer...
When the fuel gauge blinks, it's because the fuel sender is totally disconnected, so not resistance is being measured by the speedo.
Could be one bad lead, or damaged fuel sender unit, maybe corrotion in the fuel sender touch point.
I think you are right, the dont even show on the schematics as they think that those bolts are not to be touched.
But... i lost one of mine and i have never touched them before, one of them was loose for about a month and i didn't have the security torx ratchhet, i never fastened, only a little...
