How do you remove the mirror glass from the mirror body? I got some water behind my left mirror, and it's all spotted. I need to pop it out to clean it.

I've got the clutch cable tightened as far as it'll go at the lever, and there's still too much play. Where's the other adjuster/ how do I take up additional slack beyond the dial just past the lever? I can't seem to find it.
