This may help! I think this is good preventive maintenance, esp if you ride in the dirt. I used something similar to clean my seals. The liquid I used was Corrosion Block. Don't use anything like brake cleaner. Worth trying before you go the more expensive route. You could make the same tool...

The buyer took the bike away today. He doesn't seem to be a Starbucks rider, so that's good. I put more than 14,000 miles on it in one year. Some decent rides, plus one epic ride.... Goodbye! Time to eff-up a new bike!

Camp Where is good for camping. It has a map of a lot of camp sites. You dont need a signal to use it.
