    it's in the service manual. Boneman's FZ6 Site - Mods there's a screw on the left side under the tank. just read the manual and follow the procedure. that has everything you need.

    i will say that when i switched to a better motor oil this seemed to stop happening. do you use a good synth oil? probably just a case of confirmation bias....

    if it's the steering head bearing you should feel some notchiness when you turn the bars. if it's a wheel bearing then you will feel notchiness when you spin the wheel.

    Sync your throttle boddies. Check the rubber mounts (various parts of the bike) for cracks. Get heavier bar ends. Work on a light grip. Live with it --it's a buzzy bike. Suspension: replace fork fluid, see if that helps. If it doesn't improve to your liking, get custom springs, given your...

    How Long Does the OEM Air Filter Last?

    Just take it out and inspect it. A lot depends on the quality of the air you ride in. Take the filter out and post a photo if you want.....but with 23,000miles, you should just get a new one.

    i'd say low retail. there are way too many fz6's on the market. demand isnt all that high,either. it's not the bike's fault of course, just the way it is. part out all the mods you can.

    Yes, after the ring terminal, there's a box that makes the electricity go from 12v --> 5v.....technically speaking...:rolleyes: I have a color coded crimper from Harbor Freight. So I think that matches up with the connectors. The sizes are indicated by color.

    So KTM has this nifty thing where they prewire some aux connections behind the headlight. Nice! :thumbup: One is switched and the other always hot. I need to wire up my GPS so I can GTFO of Dodge (and be able to get back). There are 2 sets of aux connectors (2x +ve, 2x -ve) tucked behind...
