    riding season almost over... :(

Hehe:thumbup: Except for the fact that Norway has been rated the best country in the world by the UN to live in, I can't find one conceivable reason for anyone to actually move and live here permanently. Think of Minnesota during winter, just add a few mountains and "fjords" to get the right...

    riding season almost over... :(

That's a good one, fazer.rider:thumbup: You know... My bike has been stored away for 1,5 months allready. That's a real bummer considering that winter hasn't arrived for real until now. And even worse, since mid October up until last week, I've been hanging around in tropical climates WITHOUT...

    Accidentally changed MPH to KMPH.

Hmmm... I've been wondering why you haven't changed your measuring system yet. As far as I know, you do use the SI system on different occasions, and not adopting the metric measuring system must be a real pita:confused: Further, your way of measuring stuff isn't much intuitive either, or at...

    Bike is now winterized

I'm not affected;) On saturday I will enjoy temperatures in the high 30's, maybe 40's. And I'm talking celsius:Flash: Seriously, our day temperatures are somewhere in the region of 10-12 degrees, so it's really nice riding weather here now. Problem is that the bike isn't where I am at the...

    Bike is now winterized

Hey, smartass! Those winds you're talking about are coming from freakin' Sweden, or more precisely, Sibiria;) Talking about Sweden: Congrats on winning that soccer match:thumbup: I winterized my bike solely because I'm going away for two weeks this friday. I saw on the latest weather...

Bi-Xenon projector with angel eye installed

The bulbs that go into the projector is a D2S-bulb with the wiring stuck to it. In other words, no: The bulbs are neither H7, H4, etc. You can go for a normal D2S-bulb in the future, but then it's necessary to get a thingy like this:

    Bike is now winterized

Ja, i år har det blitt kaldt ganske fort (did you understand that? - translated: Yes, this year it has become quite cold pretty fast). It's no more than two weeks ago that we had temperatures in the mid 20's:eek: Is it still 10 degrees during morning hours where you're at? I don't think...

    Bike is now winterized

Problem around here, is that the morning temps aren't suitable for riding, whereas during the day, the temperature can get up to around 12 degrees c. I use the bike mainly for commuting, and the unpleasantness of riding in several degrees below zero, makes me shiver just thinking about it. I...

    Bike is now winterized

... and she'll be staying put the next five-or-so months. Have allmost put 20.000 km's on her since March, and the odo just turned 40K on the last trip this season. Which was a freezing one. Got down to -1 degree c at one point there...

    Cold Startup Idle

It depends on the ambient temperature. Around here these days, it's not more than 3-7 degrees C in the morning, and the bike revs cold around 2500 rpm's. When it gets warmer, it goes down to warm idle, in other words 1300 rpm

HID projector on my FZ6N - Complete!

I did post a couple of pictures of the output on page two of this thread. But I will try to catch another one later, showing the cut-off a bit better:thumbup:

    Clutch replacement

Hehe, well... Quite aggressive, I'd say. A lot of throttle on-off. The closest thing you'll get a wheelie, I'd say. More important though, is that I do a lot of riding in heavy traffic. That also wears out the clutch, I reckon. But, it might be just a worn clutch cable... Should try to grease...

    Clutch replacement

Just wondering how many of you that have changed your clutch? I'm asking as I suspect my clutch is getting worn. It rattles a lot more than it used to, and I just "feel" it isn't 100% anymore. My bike has done allmost 40.000 km's. If you have had a clutch change, please note down how many...

Norwegians sentenced to death in Congo

Africa is so much more than Congo. If you never go there, you'll never get to see some of the most beautiful things. I'm going back to Malawi in just a few weeks, and will probably visit both South-Africa and Zambia. Sure, everyday life is VERY different from what we're used to, but in my...

Norwegians sentenced to death in Congo

These two guys served in the Norwegian army until a few years ago, one of them as an officer, the other one as an elisted. They wanted to establish a security business in Africa, in Uganda to be more precise. It was supposedly a branch of SIG (Special Intervention Group), which have been...

Norwegians sentenced to death in Congo

Norwegians sentenced to death in Congo - CNN.com The whole thing is ludicris. I've been to those parts of Africa myself, and I know how things are down there. Unfortunately, we as a nation aren't capable of doing much except diplomacy. I'm afraid that won't suffice.
