I guess that's cool. Going fast in a straight line has never impressed me though. Same thing with drag racing, be it cars or bikes. Does it take some skill? Sure, knowning when to shift and throttle control.. but honestly even Nascar's big ovals takes more skill than going in a straight line...

If I can't go around the speed bump I stand up off the seat let my legs absorb the impact (don't lock your knees). Same with any kind of hard object, or hard drop off in the road I can't avoid.. maybe left overs from riding off road.

Hmm the application is intriguing.. but is it really needed? How often does your battery go dead from being drained on a bike? Unless you do something silly like forget to unplug heated grips or gps or something like that.. not sure a solar panel would help with that or not. On a boat I can see...

Heh yeah I avoided the highways for a few hundred miles around here people are insane. Pretty much impossible to get from one side of town to the other without riding on a highway or interstate though. When going any real distance I ride tank to tank no reason to stop between really. 200miles...

I dunno when I had to replace mine there was No way at all to remove the bolt from the ignition. It wasn't a Torx or anything. Maybe mine was special :thumbup:

You can't.. "remove" the ignition. It's got a mushroom head top that's machine pressed in. You have to drimel it off. PITA. The rear sets are easy enough. Just a couple bolts and some manuvering around the brake and shift rods. Some people have left the rubber grommits in while powercoating...

I keep everything.. including my crash set of fairings and black painted headlights for the track. They've been plastic welded together a few times. I figure eventually I'll be able to build an whole 2nd fz6 hah. I don't plan on selling or trading the fz.. goin to ride her until the wheels fall...

The newest Guitar Hero.. World Tour = Rock Band. Has all the instruments and such and the songs are pretty good. All originals. The drums are a bit more involved than Rockband as they have actual symbols, and a whole extra button. The bass is alot better as well. The guitar parts are alot easier...
