I work a 4 day work week with Friday's off. I'm with you on the weather I commute to work on the bike but haven't gotten out yet on the weekends I'm ready for the warmer weather.

I'm using the Street Pilot 2610 with the ram mount it was my brother's got it for free can't beat that I've been using it in the car to get use to it. Waiting for some powerlet accessories before I mount it to bike.

Well I just received my ram mount, I ordered the standard size but it seems long maybe I should have gotten the shorter model. Sitting on the bike though I won't have to stain to see it. What length mounts have others used? Now that I think about it I didn't have my tank bag on so it should be...

I'm thinking of connecting it to switched easy enough to start bike up to check gps. It's a streetpilot 2610 my brother is mailing me for free he's been using a newer pilot and this was just laying around. I also have a Shad SH50 and rack on it's way can't wait to hit the Smokey's this spring.

I've got a GPS on it's way I'm asking how you have it wired up. Why straight to the battery always on would be better than on a switched source.

I have been thinking of the same thing, during the winter I wear a pair of Teknic overpants that give great protection over Dockers when commuting but I'll need to find something cooler in a few months. I would hate to go down with just a pair of Dockers on ;)

I keep the FZ in my attached garage but also commute everyday I can to work. It's the only fun I get everyday :thumbup:

I purchased a set of SW-Motech up and backs on Ebay used for $32 used not a thing wrong with them.

my first and only bike before the FZ was a 81 Yamaha 650 Special on the streets of Miami, almost 25 years in between.
