FYI: From where I live, the 178-215-brp-276 loop is about 3 hours if you stop much. Saluda & back is 2 hours max if you sit and take a break in Saluda (including a couple of backroads).

Yeah, I've seen 'em hiding before, sometimes you can spot them a couple of turns early here at the southern end. We usually run 55-60, and we've not been bothered......so far ;)

as long as the wheel's clamped tight you should be fine. Hard to tell from your pics though. I would adjust that front zip tie. It looks like it could slip off the back side of the fender & get loose on ya, and you don't want that!!!

I just did that at the gas station this week :D It happens once in a great while... Catching it is the important thing ;)

Set my new personal record this year. It was 9 degrees F for my 45 minute ride to work back in Janruary. I don't know what the wind chill factor was, but I sure didn't run 80 for very long :D . Ride home was in the 20's. I ride in the 30's all winter, and many days in the 20's. Just gotta...
