Heh I wonder how many of those things they actually do. Some of it is silly honestly.. and alot of it should be done pretty much every ride.. or weekly minimum. Sucks about the nail.. sucks more that it was a new tire basically.

Graphite Should be available in any automotive store.

I dunno I use dry powder graphite to lube my lock. WD-40 is really sticky and dirt and the like can get in there and stick making problems. Sometimes I have problems pulling my key out, but that's usually because of the steering lock not being fully engaged.

The other option is to use the r6 (03-04) or r6s(06+) calipers. Often you'll find the whole front end on ebay or r6 forums (forks, calipers, axles the whole bag)

I used Fuchs 5wt fork oil in my r6 forks when I changed the springs out. I hear alot of people like Belray, but it's pretty expensive and hard to find around here. I don't know what exactly makes "good" fork oil so I can't tell you if Fuchs is good or bad.. all I can say is it works.

I'm not seeing how it helps. I assume the legs have some sort of tensioner in them like a bungie chord or something? I can see it helping when you squat.. something like an assisted pullup machine.. but just walking I"m not seeing it.

That's the sad part. I'd wager most thefts involve people you know in passing. I put a cover on my bike along with the lock and it's not visable from the street. So whoever tried to steal mine knew it was there, so they probably lived in the same complex as well. Same thing probably happened...

You just need a 15t (t=tooth) Front sprocket, 46t Rear sprocket, and a 520 chain. You'll want it steel or better, alluminum, while lighter, wears much faster. I'm sorry I can't be more specific.. not sure how to be simplier than that.

Yeah someone tried to drag mine away a few months back. Dropped it at least once, smashed it up a bit, but the disc brake lock kept it from going to far. I doubt they bent the handlebars trying to lift it.. they where probably using a crow bar or something trying to break the steering lock...
