From your photos it appears that the exhaust cam is on the mark, but the intake cam is slightly advanced. Allowing for chain stretch I would expect to see the intake mark about 1mm closer to the head. I believe your intake cam is off one tooth.

Sounds like your fuel consumption is good. Do a battery reset and see if the fuel gauge returns to normal. The good news is that your fuel indicator is pessimistic and not optimistic.
