I have the same ones, except mine has the dial controller instead of the electronic one. My first dial stopped working after the first year (heavy rain or snow messed up electronics), but my second one is going strong. If this one goes, I will just install an on/off switch. That's all you need...

I would start with soft side bags. These give you just as much storage as some popular hard cases, but you can adjust them (either front or back) to suit your rider's legs and feet. My '05 has always had a clunky "neutral to first" shift. Other gears are ok, definitely sot super smooth. Bought the bike with 20,000k and now at 55,000.

I will try and do it tonight. It's a rickety system though. Not super strong. There are a few members (possibly past) that have made some nice ones. I didn't get a chance to tour much this summer, so I haven't put the bracket together. Either way, I'll see what I can do!
