No, what I mean is at what RPM does the rev-limiter kick in. Whether that be before the red-line, or at the very top. Especially for us with the earlier model FZ6's, it may help to select the display to the rpm mode since the digital tachometer can be a bit hard to precisely read.

Just wondering how everyone up shifts. I had mentioned how I up shift (cluctched from 1 to 2 and then clutchless from 2 to 6) and got a few odd looks.

I have had the same problem before with an AGM sealed battery from Batteries+. The FZ seems to be a bit harsh on batteries, especially if mods have been done. Have you done a headlight Mod or do you have a battery tender? For me I found out that my battery tender did not work well with AGM...

Red lining an FZ6 will not harm the bike unless you are just constantly bouncing off of the rev-limiter. You have to keep it there for a long time for it to do damage. Rev limiter on my FZ6 is about 12.2k. never understood why the tachometer goes up to 14 if the rev limiter is in the low 12k's...
