IMHO, the rear spring is worth the swap for those that do some 2 up riding. The spring will allow for more adjust ability with regards to the preload setting with the added weight compared to the stock rear spring.

Is there a difference? yes. Is it worth the money? for me yes it was. I feel that aside from good tires, good suspension is worth the investment. I feel I've achieved that without breaking the bank. Comfort is subjective. The ride is more complaint and reassuring.

I had the rear preload on 6 with the stock spring, it's now on 4 with the hyperpro spring, but may go down to 3.

That's a good idea, however I didn't perform the bearing swap so a how-to would be incomplete. I just followed the instructions on the service manual.

Try re-torquing the bolt, clean the area with brake cleaner, top off the reservoir if needed and see if it continues to leak. It wouldn't hurt to bleed the line either, but it's more involved.

That may be a factor... I road in the rain only about 3 days since I've had the bike for 11 months now. I've only washed my FZ two or three times with water. I usually have and keep the bike clean routinely by wiping it down with a rag and cleaners designed for it, as opposed to hosing it down...

While installing hyperpro fork springs I went ahead to took apart the steering head and was surprised to see that the bearings and races were in great condition. It wasn't worth the trouble to swap, so I repacked it with marine waterproof grease and called it a day.

Thanks. The exhaust is Leo Vince. The tip is highly polished, it must be the angle and lighting that makes it look black. I did remove the Leo Vince decal from the carbon fiber exhaust though.

Here are the Leo's with 303. No issues. Best things used so far for hoses, rubber, etc. on the bike and actually last. Helps keep wheels stay clean longer too.
