My 2000 640 adv is a 625 cc single w/ two exhaust ports. It rips. Have to kick it over to get it started when it's cold. e-start works when warm.

All pavement...beautiful areas...but if you're looking for ONLY pristine pavement, this may not be for you. Some of the BEST back road street riding is on less than perfect pavement...I eat it up, but it's a bit of an acquired taste. I was not an immediate fan. MAP Now if you were willing...

Definitely keep weight FORWARD (i.e., stand up off the seat) and make sure your tire is not warm and sticky to begin with...otherwise you'll learn how to wheelie.

Chain and sprockets can be had for less than $255, shop around. The only even remotely tricky part to installing a chain is installing the rivet type master link. You will need a special tool which can be a little pricy. How much are you paying for those tires? You should be able to find them...
