ah i thought i had already seen it in pics. its the same bike as the MT 09. i thought at first yamaha was going universal with the headlight (which i dont really fancy!) Looking to be a great bike

what I ended up doing was I ordered a set of brackets from the fz8, they are very thin metal and very pliable so not as sturdy as the stock 07 bracket but anyway. all that is needed is to rub off the locking tab that sits in the fz8 forks and job done. I actually completed this job not long ago.

while i never tried it on the bike, i have been ages using the red key on my car, it works no problem, i had a spare key made and stored the spare key while i kept using the original red key. the red key is the one that houses the software to program the other keys.

did you ride the bike soon after the spill? or was it towed home? if you did not ride it the motor is most probably ok. the bike shuts itself off when it falls over. it does have a tip over switch

hi adrian, i have installed the fz6r on my fz. as for rise it is identical to that of the fz bar. as for sweep i cannot really say as my fz bar was bent and so i could not compare. as for width they are the same tho. what i noticed tho is that the fz6r is slightly better bent than the stock...

from what i remember the z6 is the older tyre and i think it was replaced by the z8, so i would look at the z8 since the z6 has been a couple of years out of production. the z6 are not featured in metzeler's site. i can give you some info on the z6 tho. my friend uses them on a suzuki 750...

i like the way he walks! to me it seems that he stopped right in the middle of the road, as the lights seemed further up. so might have been a potential hazard to other road users. I think he better check himself

nice suggestion by ssky i like it. what i meant by headstock is the part under the fuel tank where the frame tapers to meet the steering. i pass the strap of the tankbag in front of the two small bolts that hold the tank in place. i found a pic on google to show you the headstock

Hi army. you did fine in getting arai, they are one of the comfiest (and most expensive) helmets you can get. arai was pioneer in making particular models for the different head shapes. i do beleive arais in general are great helmets but way overpriced compared to some very valid competitors...
