This would be prefect for commuting. Small, light, just quick enough to take on the motorway for short distances. Although it may be a top target for thieves.

I think they are a lot easier to get serviced in the UK. Any European car/bike is horribly expensive to get worked on in the US. It's exactly the opposite over here. US cars are expensive to get repaired while European models are much more reasonable, in my experience. I used to own a Porsche...

A lot of 'adventurers' choose small capacity bikes (125-250) to travel across Africa, Asia, India, etc... simply for the fact that they can get parts for them if something goes wrong. I think one guy has ridden around the world on a Honda 125. It isn't such an issue in the US, maybe but anywhere...
