    HELP! Stolen bike...

Ok you got it back ... Great!! You don't want to let a pro (dealer) control the bike, it's a choice. Now you have to perform some checks.Did you check how light your transponder light in the dashboard (red blinking light) fix or blinking? If your fuses are good, your ignition system is probably...

How to replace your head bearings

Hi bd43, It's a very detailed write up.Thanks to share. I changed my steering bearings last winter because the former were "out of duty". I'll made a copy of your puller because the hammer and chissel are dangerous. (I have to changes those of my friend's bike in two weeks). I can confirm...

    Blue Headlights

Hi, Just to give my opinion. At first I used a set of philips bluevision but the blue emitted light is not very good for night vision except when the road is stripped with white lines. After that, I upgrade the bike with two HID 6000K crystal white color. Amazing the difference, much more...

    FZ6 + R1 tail end

Hi Wavex, Very good work but it is not a seat for "old back" like mine. I prefer to keep my fizzer like "she" is. I think the angle of the tail is a bit too wide but it is only my opinion.

    Do you buy matching tires?

I prefer to match them (Pilot Road 2CT rear and front)due to their specific build. I hardly ride "full open throttle" and the most part of my mileage is to commute (under the wet belgian weather). ;)

    fz6 or s2?

Hi JCBARR318, It's never a FZ6 nor FZ6-S(S2). It's a FZ FZR600 build from 1989 to 1999. You can follow this link to find more details on your (nice)bike. http://www.fzrarchives.com/fzr600/the_bike/the%20600.html Happy to (maybe) help you.

Do you ride in the rain..

OOh yeah, I often ride my "iron horse" in the rain because in the eastern part of Belgium, it rains very often. I use this bike as daily rider. That's the reason why I bought two michelin Pilot road 2. Never had trouble with the bike during the travel from home to my work. (40 km)
