Picked up a Panasonic LX3 and that goes straight into the tank bag (in its padded case) :thumbup: I find it takes the majority of shots very well so don't have to worry about packing a DSLR (wide angle is nice for those scenic shots, but do miss a decent zoom), can use the free space for more...

Don't despair Gilo, I'm over in Pembrokeshire! :eek: My wife is from Lymington, we regularly take trips back to see in-laws, will do it on the fz6 one day but at the moment theres need of a child seat and the 1000's of bits & pieces that go with said child :rolleyes:

Re: changing oil. +1 for the K&N oil filter, it made life a whole lot easier for me putting everything back in :D I changed my oil for the first time a few months back, and am so glad I went through the learning experience. Once you have done it once, you'll be so happy not to be paying for...

I've seen a couple of bikes that used the side stand, strap across the seat and a very strong band on the front brake lever to stop it shifting about. Yet to try the method :confused:

Just been washing the bike when this little thing fell out from around the top of the engine, anyone know where it should belong? I don't like the idea of loose bits on my bike! :confused: (next to a cm rule for some idea of scale)

HAHA thanks for that :D I've been a F1 fan for ages, but have to admit that the last couple seasons have been... difficult to get behind. Still have to admire all the drivers, but the FIA need to wake up and realise whats happening to the sport

Good gear makes a world of difference, especially if it fits well! I just got a new 'winter' jacket to battle some UK weather and I can't believe the change (my old jacket was way too big). Good job on gearing up :thumbup:
