Better braking performance for S1(2005) model

I equipped HEL brand braided lines. Way fine than stock but not enough. Next mod is brembo SA brake pads. Fz6 can't have good as s1000rr because of center of weight. BUT best brakes are R6r front end (invert) and it's discs/ brake calipers / brake master cylinder.

    What comes with different exhausts?

I'm using leo's too, I machined same discs with dremel from 1.9 mm steel sheet. I adjusted new discs' diameter slightly bigger and tapped into exhaust so discs stays extremely stable. no funny sounds at all. Also I'm not using the db killers when discs in. it gives very sophisticated...

    Indications for Valve clearance

uneven clicking sound, some vibrations, less throttle response (it's hard to feel it because it develops slooowly) If bike is at 40 k kms or it's multiplies on odometer, I recommend to check the valve clearances.

    Clicking when Braking Hard

Mine is clicking when fully compressed, I did much thing and discussed with Scott (Townsendsfjr1300) I didn't found anything. I'm thinking fork internals getting noisy when they wear and tear, maybe bushings. I don't care the clicking, if fork is fine just loosen the fork stem bearings and use...

Installation question for Leo Vince owners

I detached the discs and installed the baffles today. but... bike seems so loud even with db killers. I tried to install one of disc to between de-cat pipe and ex pipe. No luck, evet after 7k rpm it rattles so much badly.:spank: I bented the discs and tried, no luck again. :eyebrow: Really...

    is this exhaust ports healthy?

hi Scott, thank you for your fine explanation. Now I'm enlightened. I'll change the seals then. Cleaning the carbon buildup, is it essential? I can go with 142 mph, bike pulls pretty fine IMO. And, should I change the intake ports' oil seals or ex sides are enough?

Installation question for Leo Vince owners

Thank you mate, I hope you liked yours, too. The disc is not looking fine, it's cracked badly.I think a basic welding may be get it alive. I was fine for a day, today it's rattling. I hate that "ssssssss" sound. Also pipes are leaking from their joining points, which allows me to hear that...

    is this exhaust ports healthy?

Hi, I just pulled my bike's manifold and looked it's inside. The #2 cyl's exhaust was black than I inspected the valves with a lamp. I'm waiting your opinions... Also can I change valve oil seals without taking apart the head like in this video...

Installation question for Leo Vince owners

Yes I read the booklet which included to exhaust box and it says I should use that little bolts when db killers out for insulating heat from end caps. I was worried for missing parts, thank you :-) Did you installed the discs inside to pipes?
