hi there, do you have a close up pic of your ohlins steering damper? a guy local is selling one that comes stock on the 2009 zx6r. does your damper unit have a part # on it? i want to compare if it's the same on the zx so i only need to get the mount kit. thanks so much =D

cool. sry for asking this seemingly obvious question but im new at this :ban: cutting the head doesnt seem so easy. im having a hard time imagining how i would angle the dremel to make a clean cut without also cutting the ignition. do i line up the cutting blade perpendicular to the head and cut...

So I had to connect the speedo back to the bike to run a test. Turned the key and the speedo lit up fine. After I turned it off I realized I forgot to connect the ground wire to the fairig stay. Could I have done some damage? Bike is still striped down right now so I can't start it to check. Thanks

pardon my ignorance, if u cut off the head, wont the threads still be inside? how can u get that out? would it work if i cut a line cross than use a flat screw driver?

i didnt quite understand what haynes manual meant. it said "drill it", i worry i might mess up. since you can't get leverage to those security bolts. how the heck did the factory put them on to begin with? thanks. :D

yeah but i had a 06 before and i always had to carry the helmet which is a huge PITA :BLAA: then got the 07 with helmet lock it's so much more convenient. what do you think about the right side of the subframe? there's more space there. unless the shock hose isn't long enough.

so i haven't received it yet but just wondering, on the 07+ you can't mount the reservoir on the left side of the subframe due to helmet lock. one member mounted it on the left passenger peg. another member mounted it under the seat. i was thinking, what about the right side of the subframe...

i guess it doesn't matter? just make sure neither touche anything metal? :BLAA:

why not just disconnect both red and black terminals before removing the batt? sorry if this is dumb but i'm new at this.
