So does it add much height to the bike? I'm barely able to flat foot with my stock seat. Also, will it work on an '04?

I've heard this seat adds height to the bike and is not much better than the stocker. Any thoughts? I'm looking to upgrade.

I use a single Marmot tent, but my buddy has a double and it packs up fine if he separates the tent and poles. For a sleeping pad, Big Agnes is the best. It's about the size of a roll of toilet paper all packed up and blows up in three minutes for a blissful night of air filled sleep.

How about ergos adjustments? I'd like to keep from sliding forward for a more upright riding position.

Is that a gel pad you have on your FZ? I just finished a trip through Utah, AZ and Nevada and had a pretty numb but the whole time.

While the FZ performed flawlessly over an 1100 strip across the southwest this past week, my butt took a beating at times. Aside from a Corbin seat does anyone have an alternative solution for saddle butt on the FZ for long trips?

Any suggestions for grips that help dampen vibration for long trips? Maybe different bar ends? I have some aftermarket PROgrips that are a little spongy, but still feel some vibration over long rides. Any suggestions?

Has anyone put different pegs on their FZ for long trips? I'm thinning of some thicker vibration dampening pegs or something along those lines. I found my right foot falling asleep after 80 miles or so due to vibration during my last trip. It helped to shift into sixth whenever possible, but...
