Yeah the cheap ones. Mine are expensive ones, but I've seen plenty of cheap brackets. The thing is the light once you get it installed sits a bit below the ignition and it's a non issue.

You should be okay. I mounted a mt03 headlight with fork mounts and have zero issue with ignition clearance. I've seen folks mount round headlights with the eBay brackets as well.

The gas tank bolt idea actually seems pretty decent to me, I'll have to look into that for sure! The tomtom actually came with the required bits to hardware it to the bike, pretty similar looking to what you posted actually. I'll definitely be looking into where to wire that in at.

Lots of use full information on this if you search the forum. In short, it's a huge upgrade. I just did it myself and it made a massive difference.

What are the sleekest ways to attach ram mount to our bikes? Just got myself a TomTom and it comes with the reservoir mount, but it makes the GPS way too high and over bearing for my tastes. I'd rather getting it closer to the speedo. Btw, I have a naked bike so that does limit my options...

I kept stalling my Grom yesterday, it just wouldn't go forwards when I let out the clutch unless I have it gas.

With all the clunky transmission, stiff clutch, and jerky throttle complaints going around.

I'm think maybe I just have ever so slightly higher corner entrance speed than you in that case. On the track I never feel like I'm going slow enough for 1st and on the street I have a healthy fear of being arrested, so I don't usually pin it leaving a corner. I'm already going 2-3x the speed...

Must be a difference in corners for us then, basically every time my knee touches the ground on track or street I'm in 2nd gear or 3rd and first gear would likely be too short. Ill have to get some videos of my tach this summer to see what's going on. Then again, I'm never brave enough to go...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is it proper to pre engage the gear shift lever if your not clutch less up shifting? I've never pre engaged if I was planning on using the clutch.

The way the fz6 is geared there's really never any reason to take a corner in 1st gear. At the track or out on twisty roads you should almost always be going fast enough for 2nd. If your not riding aggressively there's really no reason to be in 1st either as you don't need to be in the powerband.

Mine has shifted similar to all the other bikes I've rode. That being said, if you apply pressure before pulling in the clutch you should clutch less up shift. If your going to use the clutch wait until you pull in the clutch to press the shift lever. My bike bangs up gears with no issues...

Haha. That would be one hell of a mod. I'm in the process of saving for a supersport actually. It'll be in addition to the fz6. I'm hoping to pick something up in May. I'll see though. So I was just taking the 675 out to see if I really want one or not.
