Best way to accommodate longer legs to reduce knee pain?

Shrink your legs :) you would hate my fz6 with setback plates!

    Safety wire.

Look a little closer, that's the same wire. There is not a second wire on the filler cap.

    Safety wire.

It's a imgur album, there's a bunch of photos on there. He oil filer cap is wired to the bracket by the clutch cable.

    Safety wire.

I actually noticed that and that's how I set my clamp. However, I'm not doing this for me, it's a track day requirement so I'm just gonna wire it anyways for the tech inspection guys.

    Safety wire.

https://imgur.com/a/fHSlx Here's some photos of what I ended up going with. Didn't really drill much of anything to be honest. Hopefully I did it right, just gotta cross my fingers. My shock is hopefully okay, I didn't check, but it's oem so I'd imagine it's still torqued properly.

    Safety wire.

For sure! I was really hoping to not have to mess with drilling bolts, but I'm starting to think I'm just going to have to suck it up and figure out how to drill them. Alternatively, I could just ride slower at the track lol.

    Safety wire.

Well, I think I'm just gonna get some of the bolts, around the areas i need after wired, drilled for wire. Shouldn't be the simplest, but will probably be the cleanest solution.

    Safety wire.

I have to safety wire my my oil sump bolt, oil filer cap, oil filter, and possibly dip stick. Any ideas what the best anchor points would be? I've never done this before.

The lil fz6 streetfighter that goes like it should! :)

You have perhaps the only naked conversion on the forum I prefer over mine! Epic bike. Question time. What triple clamp is that? What's going on with the subframe fairing bits? FZ1?

    Some More Track Photos

No, I think he was wanting me to go faster or showing me better lines. Video was from my evaluation session to get bumped from novice to intermediate.

    Scraping Footpeg Thingee

It should also be noted, that if you fix your pegs, your kickstand will drag :D

    fz6 07 clip ons?

Your going to have to shorten your clutch and throttle cables, if your bike isn't naked your going to have clearance issuers, and stay away from Vortex as your master cylinder won't clear the clamp design.

    finding comfort on my FZ6

I put rearsets plates on mine, I find it more comfortable than stock. I however still ride with my the pegs on the balls of my feet or slightly forwards. It's crazy how differences affect different riders completely different.

Wondering what I'd be getting myself into

Your basically going to have to figure out how to hide your wiring harness and how to mount the speedo. Everything else is easy.

    Round Headlight!!!

I'm telling you man, ignition switch is a non issue on our bikes. Just look at the vast amounts of people in the fz6n conversion section who have done this mod. The hardest part of the conversion is hiding or shortening the wiring harness.
