Pick it up Tuesday! Can't wait!

I live on a 55 mph road so what I do is. Put on all my gear, get on bike, turn it on, wait 5 seconds. Pull onto my street, I make sure to use at least 50% throttle and exceed 10,000 RPM in first. This brings the temperature up really fast.

Yup.... ;) I'm probably the second fastest rider in my group of ten friends who I ride with regularly. Thing is, I technically have the slowest bike by some margin. Only time I really loose out is on the straights at track days.

FZ6 hangs with the sport bikes just fine! Doesn't mean I don't want a R6 though!

Anyone have any experience? I just picked up a couple of pieces from them. I got the All Season Parka and the Matrix Overpants. I'm hoping they will keep me somewhat warm commuting to work in the fall. The jacket doesn't seem like it has must abrasion resistance, but it does have armor...

It's a 2009, but I bought it in 2013 with 500 miles on it! So it really only has two years of use on it.

Definitely helps to not "attack" the corners the way I was. You don't seem to be hanging off at all, I just can't corner like that.

It's funny, style is such a personal thing. I really don't like much about the Aprilia except for the styling. That bike is 100% gorgeous, probably the best looking "naked" ever.

Yup, this one is epic. My short-list for my next bike in the spring right now is: 1. Tuono V4R 2. S1000R 3. GSX-S1000 4. Z1000 I'm not really interest in the CB1000R or FZ1. They're already getting pretty long in the tooth and this is a bike I'll have to keep for a number of years.

The problem with the FZ1 for me is that there's no naked option in the USA and the weight. It's nearly 40 lbs heavier than the Suzuki. At the same time, it makes less torque and HP than the Suzuki. The FZ1 seems like a good distance bike to me, but it doesn't really seem to compete with the...

2016 Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F first ride - Common Tread - RevZilla What do you guys think? $10,000, 145whp, 460 lbs, good components. Seems to be a lot better sorted than the FZ09. It's definitely going to be added to the contenders for my next bike. It's about $2,800 cheaper...

I have one, I like it for snowboarding and what not. I've tried it on the FZ6 and it absolutely doesn't work. The only exception is if maybe you have poor body position. The problem is your constantly changing your forward lean angle on a motorcycle, in a corner or accelerating your leaning...

You also forgot the part where the FZ6 corners more confidently than the FZ09. :D I'm actually curious about the FZ1 myself, I've thought about picking one up. The price is just so good on the used market. The thing is, I'm not sure I want an almost 500 lbs motorcycle.
