    Just bought these, worth it?

I bought these sliders (though mine are simply black). They are fine. Especially since the ones they replaced after my crash cost me closer to $70 dollars. I have not tested these the hard way, hopefully I won't. No cutting on a normal FZ6 they mount as all others do in the engine mount...

    Dear SOB

Sorry it happened. Glad to hear injuries weren't worse for you and your girlfriend.

    Crash Test Gear Review

Jake, glad you came out of that one unscathed. It sucks reading about injuries and it is great to hear a story with a happier ending for a change. Thanks for spending the time to evaluate and relay the performance of your gear.

    Uncaged Slider Bits

I have one complete and undamaged right hand mount and delrin puck from uncaged sliders. I also have one slightly ground off but usable delrin puck from the left side. As you probably guessed the left side mount didn't make it. Anybody with an incomplete set of uncaged sliders that can be...

Bard, what are you doing going 120 mph with luggage attached to your bike?

    Boot Suggestions?

Steve (wrightme43) and any others who have the Sidi B2 boots. Do these boots have a rigid exterior? You know kinda like the shell on a ski boot? The reason I ask is that my foot broke in my accident because my Tourmaster Solution boots allowed a lot of lateral movement. My foot basically...

    Helmet Speakers

I have these http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/Aerostich-Helmet-Speakers-p-18213.html and they work pretty well. Not great, but I'm happy with them for the money.

    Tiez One-Piece suit group buy

I am definitely interested, but really would like some feedback from someone who touches and feels this suit first. I think the owner said that a store in the SF, CA area has them in stock. Maybe one of our fellow members in the Bay Area will check them out and give us a report on apparent...

Apologies if someone else already pointed this out.

    FZ6 now officially a "3-up" bike

LOL! Actually that's my nephew. The one in front is my 3 1/2 year old son. Then my niece and nephew 3 year old twins. I tried to find gear for them but Alpinestars and Joe Rocket are biased against little people apparently.

I got backed over by a van.

I have never called a lawyer so I really don't know, but doesn't it cost a considerable amount of money to even speak to a lawyer unless they think there is some kind of significant settlement money that they can take a piece of? Not trying to disparage lawyers, but they sell their time...

    Earplugs, Earphones my experience

I just installed some of the cheap helmet speakers they sell on Aerostich (I think they were $15). They work pretty well. I can still hear some wind noise and I am sure I would be able to hear sirens. If anything I probably wish they were a bit louder, but I am happier with them than I was...

    Missed my opportunity

I let my bike cool off in the driveway before I put it in the garage. My 3 1/2 year old insists on sitting on the bike every day when I push it into the garage. Didn't read this thread until after I posted the 3-up picture thread. :tard: Doh!

Unfortunately for me, I had 3 months with a broken foot and ribs to mull it over. Glad you avoided more serious injuries.

I got backed over by a van.

I understand how you feel. I lowsided a few months back and also have a wife and kids depending on me. I just keep thinking how much it would suck if I stopped riding the bike, then got taken out in my car by a drunk driver or some other accident beyond my control. My wife and kids would be...

    New LOW COST riding suits

These look pretty nice. I can't believe the price difference for similar materials and quality to Aerostich. Looks like they are back ordered until May 31. I wonder if they sold out or if they have yet to order the manufacture of their first large scale production. I have heard rumors of...
