Guys dont waste your time with noise cancellation stuff. Go get a set of Etymotic earbuds. They are unbelievable for blocking out wind and noise. They sound good to.

I have a quest and wouldnt use anything else. I also ended up getting a pair of etymotic ear buds. WOW what a difference. I am not exagerating when I say that with the combination shoei and Etymotic buds the ride is as quiet as my moms lexus at 70.

I think what I might do is get a second 1550 case (the smaller one). That way they will be matching. There is no way the smaller one will hit on a hard turn. I think you guys are right the bigger case is pushing it as far as clearance.
