    Stripped Bar End

did you actually strip the threads or pull the thread casing out? If you just pulled the casing out you can have a machine shop MIG weld it back in. I did this with my bars because i cut them down. All that's holding those threads in is a spot weld. If you look at the first picture here you...

    Pod lights

I have seen them on some bikes here and must have them. Has anyone posted a how-to? Also can they be used as turn signals? I'm hesitant to do a flush mount directional because I've seen what they look like when the sun hits them just right.... aka you can't see them at all. But...

    Windscreen Compatibility

Well technically you can do pretty much anything through modding;) but officially they changed the windscreen for the '07 model. So anything '07 + will fit yours.

When was the last time you checked your brake and run lights?

Just gonna throw this question out there cause after reading this thread I looked... are the left and right signals supposed to be running lights as well? When i have it on the front are running lights the back are not. is this supposed to happen?

    Classification change?

Just a little bit of incentive for those "lowest price" insurance jumpers out there. Stay with one company and it will save you money in the long run. I've been with state farm for my entire driving career. I just bought my 07 FZ6 brand new off of a dealer... first bike ever(i know:spank: but...

    GRRRRR Handlebars!

let me just start off with :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: That ought to about cover that part So after having my friend ride the bike with the FZ1 bar on it (the way the dealer installed) he confirmed what I was thinking. There was WAY too much wobble in the steering...

No excuses to not get this beginner bike

very true, but a ninja 250 is better still... tried and true brand, parts are predictable. It depends on the dealer too, if they want to price gouge like this douche did, go get a ninja you'll be better off. But if they'll be realistic about the price then buy it, it's a decent 250.
