Okay, Ive been looking for a front rim for my bike. I noticed on the compatibility chart that the 03-04 R6 front rim can be used on the 06 FZ6. So, I headed to fleabay. Every rim on there for the R6 is 03-05. So, will the front rim off of an 05 R6 fit my 06 FZ6? Specifically this one...

Anyone have one? Or one that's compatible?

Oddly, i was in the EXACT same situation in November. I had the cash, walked in liked two FZ6's they had on the floor. One blue 06 and one Red 2010/2009 model. 3200 or 5900. Obviously, I chose the 06. Mainly because it looked cooler to me... And everyone knows blue is tops!

I frequent the Golden Triangle area a lot :-) my parents live there.

Bought a pair of front forks for my 06 off of him, once we nailed down the price and I got some pics, 48 hours later the forks are in my hand. EXCELLENT condition (just like he said). Even threw in a front axle with it :wav:

Well, that settles it then... Lol. Looks like I'm grabbing the LEDs! Reliability and brightness to me is tantamount to light dispersion.

Well, as it stands, I am torn between these two: LEDS CCFL I'm sticking with a single color blue. I looked at the color changing LED kits, but the reality is I will never need to change mine to green or red...

So, this week I am going to install Angel Eyes. However, I am not sure whether to go with the CCFL or LED kits? Any input?

I'm with him on this one, how mature is he? I know the FZ6 is talked up sometimes as a good starter bike because of the mellow low end. That's the whole reason I got mine. However, as a beginner rider who is starting on the FZ6, I got to say I wish I would have started on a 250... I wrecked...

Anyone else other than me on here from Mississippi?

I'm curious as to whether the stock 86 black front rim is compatable with the newer models... I like the design better than my stock 06 rim...

It's easy to find the standard bar end mirrors, but not so much the flowing curved mirrors used there. Everything I've seen so far is simply straight on the bar ends. No curve forward.

Do you have an updated pcb layout diagram? I have a design in Altium that I am working with now with a few added features myself. It would be nice to get this designed into a simple printable pcb bored that would work with the radio shack kits that anyone can use.

Does anyone know where I can find these bar end mirrors from? I've been looking for a while now for my FZ. I'd like to find that style in black chrome, but if not I can powder coat them... I just love the way they look. Also, how would I go about covering the mounting points for the stock...
