Shift Into First & Engine Cuts Off...

Am I missing something here? I have my bike up on the center stand. I cranked it up, went to put it in first, and it instantly cuts off... I have the headlight harness disconnected if that matters. It runs perfectly in neutral. Can rev it up and hold it... Sounds beautiful.... Is there a...

    Possibly getting an FZ

I'm with him on this one, I looked at the Ninja 650R as well... I also have a Ninja 250. Both the Kawasaki's just feel cheaper than the FZ6. I'm not experienced enough riding to really open the bikes up yet though. Overall, I am DEFINITELY happy with my FZ6.

    Possibly getting an FZ

Yeah, some weird chick from Louisiana owned it. Drove it a week, couldn't handle it, stuck it in her garage. Set there for four years until I bought it.

We can rebuild her— we have the technology

Alright, so far today, I have the Fender Eliminator put on the bike. Pretty easy, took a few minutes to splice everything together nicely. No thanks, however to the SportBikeLites.com instructions... First, they are completely wrong... Well, I mean, other than the fact that black wire is...

Getting my 17 year old son a bike

I started on the FZ6 back in November. Mistake on my part. I wrecked it a week after getting it. I bought a Ninja 250 a few weeks later to get some practice while I rebuilt my FZ6. Since I plan on finishing my rebuild this week, I put my 250 up for sale already. I listed it for 2900 (I bought it...

We can rebuild her— we have the technology

So, now that I have all of the parts (as seen here minus the pegs - Getting powder coated, fairing - still in the box and too big for the pic, rims - also still in the box) I decided to get down to business. I'm from the south and do NOT like cold weather. Today was 40-50 degrees. This...

First up, here is the EvoTech Radiator Grill Cover. I have to say, it's a pretty nice piece. Aluminum, not plastic like the OEM.

We can rebuild her— we have the technology

As a few of you my remember, a few months ago I wrecked my beautiful blue 06 FZ6 (http://www.600riders.com/forum/hall-shame/34827-wrecked-thank-god-my-riding-gear.html). Since I did not even have insurance yet, and the dealer SEVERELY inflated the repair cost (5900 dollars for a bike I only paid...

    WTB: 2006 OEM Headlight Assembly

Here is the whole assembly, as you can see, the right side is cracked where I wrecked my bike back in November. Here's the crack: Left lens is just fine (no scratches, chips, etc):

    Suggestions about Boots?

Thanks! DEFINITELY worth the money. And DEFINITELY offer real protection. I went down with these on back in November, 100 % protected my feet/ankles and as you can see, you can't even tell that the bike ended up on top of that foot...

    Suggestions about Boots?

I love my Alpinestars S-MX 5 boots. The feel solid, breath well (but not to much so my toes don't freeze), were not ungodly expensive (220.00), and the blue matches my blue FZ :D Sorry for the low res pic, but I was sitting here playing vid games and just snapped it. LOL
