Here is a little background info. I set 2 alarms for 5:00 AM to give myself ample time to prep and drive to Willow Springs. Surprisingly, none buzzed. Without the assistance of the useless alarms, I awoke at 6:30 AM. By then I knew I was not going to make the “mandatory pre-track meeting”...

I did not wipe out on the track, but physically I'm totally wiped out. Having experienced my first track day, I see how track racing is a true sport now. I learned a lot of respect of the track, many guys wiped out around exit turn 4B - on the Omega. Great experience just being there, getting...
