Because they are thinker, they are a bit warmer, but I don't think they a lot warmer. Summers here in Florida can be pretty hot and humid, but I'll wear them on trips and will spend a fair amount of time walking around outside. Again, they are warmer, but I don't think they're too bad.

Ya, many of the good motorcycle jeans are expensive. Also have a pair of Icon Recon jeans, which are vented, which makes them great for the hot, humid Florida summer. They also are not cheap, but love them too. Ride Icon
