I went for a ride Friday and everything felt great. I went to go to work today and the clutch pull felt at least twice as hard and there's a squeak sound + rough feel to the clutch pull. I think I'm going to pick up a cable lube tool, but do you remove the cable from the lever? I've never had...

I don't know. At 6k my engine is barely touching it's power and I still have to shift down at least once if not twice to make a quick pass. I'm pretty happy where it is. For those looking for lower freeway RPMs what RPMs do you turn on the street? I keep mine between 4-6k for street riding too...

I hate the wind, especially when it's gusty. I just grip onto the bike a little tighter with by legs and try to remind myself to loosen my grip and relax my wrists. Ultimately I just try to have fun with it and play guess when the gust will blow me over, or visualize how stupid I must look...

I have the Sidi B2s and haven't had any issues with them so far. As for their rigidity? They do not have an exoskeleton that keeps them rigid. They have a plastic spine that articulates vertically to allow the heel and toe to pivot up and down easily and help reduce side to side or torsional...

+1 to what the others have said. It's probably my single biggest complaint about the bike. I notice mine the most when I'm in second gear going around a curve and trying to roll onto the throttle; once the trottle drops below a certain point it always "jolts" back on when I roll the tube back...

Did you reuse all the FZ6 parts except the bar? For example the throttle tube, bar ends, levers...

So I had some plans today, but when my friend with the Ninja 250's asked me to go for a ride I blew everything off and took him up on the offer. We road some fun twisty roads that have little vehicle traffic and plenty of room to truly enjoy the curves. I rode the FZ for 1/2 and the Ninja 250...
